Have you heard of those new productivity apps that you install on your cellphone? They track your screen time, app usage, plus how often you randomly pick up your cellphone throughout the afternoon just to see if there is anything new on the house screen.
I think that these apps are extremely powerful plus provide a lot of useful information about our new ways of residing.
I also think that a similar app needs to be developed for our indoor air temperature appliances. In the same way that to these apps encourage people to be more independent from their cell cellphones, an Heating plus A/C application could discourage people from abusing their central heating plus cooling systems throughout the afternoon. If you’re anything like me, you might be a bit obsessed with your indoor comfort. When I’m at home, I’m obsessed with being comfortable in my own space. I want ideal indoor air temperature conditions; Often times, rather than trying to moderate my own temperature with clothing swings or blankets, I will simply meander down the hallway plus mess with my thermostat settings. I find that I do this so several times throughout the afternoon, my poor central heating plus cooling system gets put through its paces. It’s a disappointing habit, plus it contributes to much higher energy costs each month, however I’m not sure how to be more mindful of my habitual thermostat checking. That’s why, I’d prefer if they could simply come up with an app that controlled your smart thermostat accessibility. Lock me out of my indoor air temperature control, plus do me a favor.
